Tribunal sacks Wike as Rivers governor, orders rerun

The Rivers state election petition tribunal sitting in Port
Harcourt, Rivers state today nullified Governor Nyesom
Wike's election. The tribunal led by Justice Ambusa said
the April 11 2015 election which brought Wike to power
was marred by election fraud and violence. He ordered
for a rerun election. The petition challenging Wike's
election was filed by APC candidate, Dukuku Peterside
